MamaLeo Childcare Center is situated in a quiet suburb in Dunakeszi. The preschool is for children aged 1,5-5 years, who are able to attend our activities on a regular basis. We provide kindergarten standard activities in small groups to ensure the development of your child. The diverse and carefully structured programs prepare the children for school and social life.
We strive to ensure a caring and loving atmosphere for children where they can discover their natural environment and develop their skills. We prefer the Montessori method in MamaLeo. Montessori practice changes in scope and manner to embrace the child’s changing characteristics and interests. Toddlers develop movement and self-help skills through practical life experiences such as food preparation, care of plants, carrying chairs, rolling mats and sponging tables. They are encouraged to dress and undress themselves. Through their own observation the children develop an interest in toilet training and are encouraged to use the toilet independently. This is a gradual process, which is handled with great sensitivity.
Our program offers:
- Consulting hours (at a pre-arranged time), evaluation of child’s performance
- English lessons two days a week ( Tuesday and Thursday)
- Swimming once a week ( www.tanuszoda.hu )
- Other learning activities like:
- nursery rhymes
- gym and fun
- splash and smear
- kamishibai
- little chef’s day
These programs will be held in small groups. We use Montessori method and tools (Nathan) as an effective way to explore together with children.
Daily routine:
07.30-08.00. – early arrivals
08.00-09.00. – breakfast (usually tea, butter and toast, vegetables, ham)
9.00 – 10.00 – learning activities in small groups
10.00-10.15 – snack time
10.15-11.15 – outdoor playing
11.15-11.30 – bathroom: washing hands, brushing teeth
11.30-12.00 – lunch time
12.15 – 14.45 – resting time
14.45-15.15 – snack (fruits and vegetables)
15.15- 17.00 – free play in the garden
